Answering a few more questions about External Surveys!

One question we get asked often is why don't we offer disqualification points when a member does not qualify for a survey and they spent a few minutes answering questions, like some other companies do. This is because we already offer multiple other ways you can earn points that other survey companies do not. These include the daily member polls we offer, the weekly 50 point newsletter, our monthly promotions (such as the Easter Egg or Oscars promotions), our weekly social media promotions on Facebook and X , the bonus 50 points on weekends and holidays for completed external surveys and we also have a 4000 point draw every Friday for members participating in external surveys (each click is one entry into the draw, even if you don't answer any questions). Do you take advantage of all the ways we offer points?

As we mentioned in the last survey, unfortunately some surveys may have an issue and you can contact us if they do. Some members have asked if we test the surveys and just to clarify, we do not test every survey. This is because everything is done automatically with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and algorithms, and we don't have the time or manpower to test every survey. We also have surveys going live 24/7 depending when a supplier activates it, so we wouldn't be able to test them all. Further, just because one member has an issue with a survey, doesn't mean any one else did, so it wouldn't make sense to test all surveys if not everyone has an issue with it. Is this something you ever wondered about?

A third question we are asked is why we offer 50 bonus points on weekends if some people may not have surveys available. Please keep in mind our site is just offering what is available by our suppliers at that time so we can't control how many surveys are going live. Some suppliers may not have project managers working on the weekend to put surveys live, so there may possibly be less available. We offer 50 bonus points on weekends to remind members to login and check if there is anything available as we may be emailing less, but that doesn't mean there will be lots of surveys as again, it depends on what is available and if those surveys match your profile. Unfortunately, many suppliers cap their age requirements at 65 or 70, so that's why you may see less surveys available if you are over the age of 70. It's not something we can control unfortunately, it is what the suppliers are looking for. We are adding a few new suppliers in the coming months as well so hopefully you will have more available! Have you noticed less surveys available on the weekends?

Another question we are asked is WHY did I not qualify? We do see the general reason such as over quota, client term (that means you got through the screener and into the survey but the client disqualified you), security (you may have answered a test question wrong or they thought you were speeding etc) however we do not know the exact reason without contacting the supplier and due to the number of emails we get, we don't have the manpower to contact suppliers to ask. Please still ask if you are having a hard time qualifying as there could be a general reason, but we don't really know why you were disqualified from a survey itself. You of course can still ask, but we just don't have an answer to give besides a general reason most of the time. Have you ever wondered why you didn't qualify for a survey?

And finally, we are asked often why we require members to complete an external survey every 14 days in order to have access to all member polls. This is because we don't make revenue off of the member polls, so only paying members to take those and no paid surveys is not financially viable. We think asking members to complete 1 paid survey every 2 weeks is a fair compromise. That being said, if you have no surveys for a while or you have tried a bunch and cannot complete one, you can write into us at support@tellwut.com so we can look into the issue. Believe us, if we could resolve these issues, we would as these issues make up 70-80% of our support tickets and obviously, cause a bad impression.Unfortunately we are just offering the surveys on behalf of suppliers, there isn't much we can do but we try! Finally, just a reminder that our support will be closed Friday, March 29 for the long weekend. Please allow an additional day or two for us to process orders and reply to emails. Are you looking forward to the long weekend?
