Results: The Metric System vs Imperial

As a Canadian we are supposed to use the Metric System in our daily lives. I sometimes do, but more often for things like height and weight or measurements for DYI projects, I will use inches and pounds over meters and kg's. I grew up learning the metric system in school, but through medias influence I find the U.S. method more memorable. Did you know the approximate equivalents between the 2 systems? What method do you use?

For my fellow Canadians, do you find yourself using the Imperial system for more things then the metric system? Like using cups, tbsp's, inches, etc vs ml's, meters, etc. not Canadian
