While researching why so many people have rubber ducks on their Jeep dashboards, I discovered that Mini Cooper owners are also duck fans.
1. Although he passed away 20 years ago, Mini Cooper owners credit Ed (MaxaMini) Smith with popularizing duck adornment, predating Jeep ducking by almost 2 decades. It all started when a group of Mini owners visited the roadside attraction "Big Duck" on Long Island, New York. It has been moved around a bit, but have you ever seen the "Big Duck"?
