I name a situation I've encountered. You guess who's responsible for it. We all get points!

I recently saw what must be one of the blandest home decorating ideas I've ever seen: books, the hardcover kind, with their pages, not their spines, showing to fill up shelving otherwise filled with nicknacks. It might be more visually appealing were the books possessed of gilt-edged pages or with other colors, but no; they're simply vertically-oriented ranges of white-to-manilla with brief patches of the books' covers' colrs (they're out of their dust jackets). Where did I see that?

The parents of a young man who once regularly took my money at a business I patronize named their son Nehemiah. To simplfy matters for custiomers with whom he'd nteract unfamiliar with the biblical prophet for whom he was named and how to pronounce that name, he put "Nemo" on his work namentag (for all I know that be a nickname already given to him before I'd met him). Who apparently doesn't mind sharing a moniker with a Pixar movie's titular fish?

Sports may be on the tv sets of wherever I am for family functions but this person would rather watch the commercials, between the plays, even when the game isn't the commercial-intensive Super Bowl. Who's this person indifferent to athletics?

It's only right that I provide answers to the above questions, so, they are 1)the relatives who hosted my family's T-giving Day get-together, 2)a gas station convenience store worker who has since, per what I was told by someone still working there, gone on to better things, and 3)me (though I'd not be surprised were the same also true of my nephew). How many answers did you get correct?
