International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) , held annually on March 31, is a global event dedicated to celebrating transgender people, their contributions, and resilience while raising awareness of discrimination. Founded in 2009 by Rachel Crandall, it serves as an empowering counterpoint to the Transgender Day of Remembrance, focusing on celebrating the living. Do you know a trans person (I don't count!)

Did you know Joe Biden was the first president to issue a formal proclamation recognizing the day?

Did you know in the year of 2026 so far 747 bills in 42 states have brought forth laws to further discriminate against transgender people? 23 of them have passed sadly. Do you think its time more pressing issues are tackled instead of focusing on just 1% of people trying to live their lives peacefully as who they are?

Do you believe trans people are the latest scapegoat for hatred and the ongoing culture war since we make up only 1% of the population, therefore have fewer allies to fight against it?
