A new survey suggests many Canadians are feeling tired of tipping culture, with most respondents saying tip prompts have become too common and tipping percentages feel too high. While some people still like the option to reward good service, others feel tipping has shifted from a thank-you into an expectation — even at coffee shops, fast food counters, and self-checkouts.
