It never crossed my mind as a kid to taste my crayons. (Unlike that one kid in every Boomer first grade class who dipped into that little white pot of minty smelling paste.) But even now, the smell of a newly opened box of crayons rates as one of my favorite scents in all the world. And oh! how I wished for that box of 64 with the built-in sharpener! Did you?

Much as I would have loved to see 64 soda bottles in a box with a built-in opener, coming up with a flavor profile for all 64 of the 2026 colors is (even to my mind) impractical. And yeah, understand why Asparagus and Mac and Cheese didn't make their way into the new soda collection. But admit I would have loved a sip of Blizzard Blue or Tropical Rainforest. Is there a crayon color you would like to see in your fridge?
