During the time in 1990's when I wrote for two publications covering the Christian bookstore market, I was required to write under an assumed name for the second of those publications so i chose one that combined an Arabic-sounding first name with a Jewish/Hebraic-sounding last name...which, now that I think of it decades later, also sounds like the last name of late singer Little Richard. Considering the publication to which I contributed using that name, do you think that was witty?

I recently thought of the name Hamhock Suckwad as an alias I could use were I ever to involve myself in artsy, experimental performance art (so a clip of artsy experimental performance artist Laurie Anderson, who I saw perform at a university theater in the '00's, accompanies this question). It combines my interest in Southeastern U.S./African-American soul food cuisine with aggressive self-insult. If you knew nothing else about a performer other than that name, would you be interested in seeing that performer?

Currently active pop singer Chappell Roan often makes herself up for music videos and concerts up to look like a drag queen. So, she's a woman intending to approximate the look of a a man wanting to look like a woman. I can't think of any, but do you know of any male performers--they don't have to be singers--who endeavor to resemble drag kings, or women who seek to look like men?
Yes (and I may name at least one in a comment)
