I once read that the difference between an avid gardener and a compulsive gardener is that an avid gardener gives tomatoes to co-workers, friends, family and neighbors, and a compulsive gardener breaks into vehicles at Walmart to leave tomatoes on the car seats of strangers. Be honest now, are you a compulsive gardener, at least a little? I've never broken into cars, but I've been known to chase the arch-enemy squash beetle in a bathrobe and slippers
