Results: Why don't you just conform?

The other day my husband went out for frosties. I asked if he could get me something else that had some crunchies in it instead. When he got back he seemed irritated that he had to make two stops. Do you think my request was too much?

The next day we started early and stopped at McDonalds for breakfast. To save time he ordered everyone the same thing, even though I told him I wanted something else before we got to the drive through, and he became irritated that he had to correct himself. Should I have just let it ride and not have reminded him that I wanted something else?

While we were waiting for our food, he asks me why I have to be different than everyone else, and says that I need to just conform already. I replied, "Babe, that'll never happen." Do you think he's right, and I should just "conform"?
