Instead of using words like "he"/"she" or "his"/"hers", students would now have the option to be referred to with words like "ze", "zir", "xe". This would not be mandated, just an option for students who wanted to take advantage. What do you think of this? I think it's a wonderful step toward tolerance and understanding.

There has been plenty of talk before about banning certain words because they are sexist - words like "freshman" and "semester". Do you think we will eventually have to rewrite all of the English language to make everyone happy? No, that's silly. it's one little change.
