4. Paul Kelley of Oxford University's Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute claims that we are in the midst of a sleep deprivation crisis. He claims that people are often forced to rise too early, and it's not natural. He is an initiative in the UK that is attempting to convert schools to a 8:30 start time for middle school and younger and a 10-11 start time for high school.
