Results: Scent Visitation

Not too long ago, I was home alone and distinctly smelled the scent of tea brewing. I wasn't brewing tea nor was anything else cooking. Also no windows were open. I couldn't locate the source of the scent anywhere in the house. Has something like this ever happened to you?

A sudden memory came back to me, and I said, "Mom?" You see, my mom was famous for her love of tea and when I was a child, our home constantly smelled of freshly brewed tea. My mom has been dead for 18 years now. Do you think she could've been visiting me that day?

If not, can you offer a reasonable explanation for the wafting tea scent in my home? (Please do so in the comments.)
