The American Red Cross will end its free ride program in Wichita, Ks this summer on June 17th. The program offers rides to residents 60 years old and older who live within Wichita for medical-related appointments. The drivers volunteer their time and use vehicles owned by the Red Cross. So far they have not been successful in finding another nonprofit agency to take over the rides.
