1. In my home town in MA recently a 70 year old man was shot multiple times and bled out sometime early Tuesday. Police were called to do a well being check around noon. Upon entry they immediately found him unresponsive. They interviewed several neighbors who claimed to have heard no gun shots or seen anyone suspicious around. His death is considered suspicious and currently under investigation. This man was an average joe, retired, working part time doing odd jobs at a Salvation army store to put forth dues for a plane he had partial ownership of. He was chatty, outgoing, optimistic, and participated in many groups and hobbies. It was very tragic. How do you feel about the recent increase in attacks on the elderly over the past few years?
To be expected because they are easy targets
I have not noticed a change
Noticed and digscusted by it
2. Do you worry about the safety of your elderly loved ones whom are living alone? In the comments: Any ideas on how we can keep the elderly more secure from crimes such as these?
