Earlier this year during his presidential campaign, Donald Trump gave a speech incorporating the lyrics of the late Al Wilson's late 1960s story song r&b and pop hit, "The Snake" as an analogy for the ISIS terrorist group. Regardless of your feelings about Trump as a presidential contender, do you recall having heard this speech?

No matter what you feel about the Trump, Wilson, the song and the analogy it was used to draw, are you at all surprised that a semi-obscure song such as this would be used to illustrate a foreign policy point by a major party presidential candidate? Yes, that is, at best, curious.
