My husband and I are on a weekend trip, so I used the opportunity to visit a thrift store in another part of the state I don't frequently visit. We of course looked at the books and I found a beautiful, antique-looking bible. When I opened the bible, I immediately noticed the family tree had been neatly filled in over the generations, making it obvious I was holding someone's family bible. Have you ever come across what was clearly a family heirloom while junking or thrift shopping? Yes

Believing it had to have been donated in error, I alerted the clerk and handed her the bible.
