The story of the 9/11 attacks in September 2001 is a tragic and still vivid memory to most of us, but those terrible events allowed Diane and Nick Marson to find each other in a little town far away from their intended destinations. Their meeting would help inspire "Come From Away", the hit Broadway musical that details how the people of central Newfoundland opened their homes to travelers stranded there on that day. The story of the Marsons is central to the show. The two, who were on the same flight, one of many that were diverted to Gander that day, met while on line to obtain their medications from a pharmacist due to their luggage being stuck on the airplane, then in another line to get blankets. The rest, as they like to say, was history. The married a short time later, and returned to Newfoundland on their honeymoon. The Marsons have seen the show 75 times, their lives played out in front of them and sold-out audiences around North America. Have you seen the musical "Come From Away"?

Brielle Saracini and Sean McGuire both lost their fathers on September 11, 2001. Sixteen years later, almost to the day, they got married. The couple first met at Camp Better Days, a summer camp for children who lost loved ones on September 11. The ceremony was filled with many touching moments, and Brielle's vows were especially emotional. "We met at a summer camp for children with broken hearts, but we built back up together," she said. "The biggest takeaway from 9/11 — for me — was that you might be able to break down steel and structure, but you can never destroy love." Do you believe that finding joy out of tragedy is the best way to "reclaim" that day so that you do not only remember the tragedy?

Known as the Children of 9/11, they were the 100 or so babies born after their fathers died on that horrible day. They are the final gifts their fathers left behind. "These children are what comes after 9/11," says Jenna Jacobs, whose son Gabriel was born six days after the death of his father Ariel. "They are the joy, the salve, the ointment. They're the love." Do you know anyone who shares a wedding day, birthday or other special occasion day with September 11, 2001?
