The notion of being "in love" is a truly confounding experience to those who have. I mean isn't the whole idea of being in love to act irrationally, to do things you wouldn't normally do, to be in a state of total euphoria and wonder and distraction all at once? The song was released in 1988, only 11 years from Canada's Centennial!
