The majority of surveys ask for your relationship status, which generally consists of: Single, Domestic Partnership, Married, Divorced/Separated, and Widowed. I have been with my boyfriend for 20 years but we have never lived together and have no plans of getting married so for lack of another classification to choose from (such as a non-cohabitating long-term relationship), I always choose 'single'.

Do you feel another relationship status should be added for others that fall into the same category as me, or just leave it as 'single'? Continue to select 'single' and move on to the next question. It's up to the surveyors to realize there are others like you and add another category.
