I'm curious about the thought process of a man versus a woman. Imagine you were an outsider and witnessed this situation. A blended family of a Dad (43), Mom (37) and two boys (9) are playing a friendly game of cards. One child is getting upset (pouting) because they aren't winning. Mom is winning a lot. Dad makes the comment, "If Mom keeps winning we are going to send a hit man to take her out!" Dad and his child (the child that was pouting) laugh. Other child (of the Mom) gets upset, "why would you say that about her?" Mom says, "Really? Why would you say that? That's inappropriate to say in front of them!" Dad says, "It was only a joke. You're over reacting. The only one it bothered was you!" Do you find the Dad's comment inappropriate?
