Are you familiar with After School Satan Clubs, the offshoot of the Satanic Temple organization to introduce and inculcate elementary school children in the US (and Canada?) into the Temple's brand of Satanism and act as a counter measure to the efforts of Christian groups such as Good News Clubs which seek to evangelize and encourage the faith of kids in the same age range?

Though a Satan Clubs spokesperson says the Temple "does not believe in introducing religion into public schools" where they want to meet, they "will only open a club if other religious groups are operating on campus." Do you believe that, as evidenced by the spokesperson's use of "other," that the Satan Clubs have the intention of introducing a brand of religious doctrine into the schools where they seek to operate? Since 2020, the Temple has sought to start Satan Clubs only at schools where a Good News Club or similar group operates. Don't you think that if the people behind Satan Clubs were so enthused to introduce their brand of non-theistic Satanism (so named because its advocates don't believe in the existence of an actual Satan, nor a literal hell), they would want to promote their concept in schools regardless of whether they already host any Christian club(s)?

It appears that in lieu of allowing a Satan Club chapter, Satanic Temple leadership are about as satisfied if administrators at a school disallow ALL clubs rather than let a Good News Club or similar group exist. Were you a parent of a student at a school where a Satan Club was being allowed, with which scenario would you be most comfortable? Allowing all clubs--Christian, Satanic, whatever else--on school property

However you answered the previous question, it may be a moot point. As a Good News Club spokesperson states in the CBN News report accompanying this question, the true arbiters as to what clubs operate in any public school building are the parents who have to sign their children's permission slips in order for any given club to have participants. Would you, or have you, allow(ed) any child(ren) in your care to attend an After School Satan Club?
