A 26-year-old woman living in Bangladesh discovered that she has a rare condition called uterus didelphys or double uterus. The discovery was made when the woman gave birth to a baby boy in late February and the following month delivered a set of twins. The second delivery was emergency c-section. The entire time, the woman was unaware that she had this condition and was pregnant with more than one baby. According to obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. Beth Taylor having a double uterus is not rare as we think and affects approximately one in 2,000 women worldwide.
