It is in a dogs instinctive nature to hoard toys or other objects around the house that you may wonder where they went if they go missing. Dogs ancestors would hoard food because they would never know when their next meal would happen. If you have a dog, does it have a lot of toys?

Dogs might howl at night for a variety of reasons such as loneliness, anxiety, communication, medical issues, and environmental triggers. Some dog breeds might be more prone to howling than others, but since dogs are pack animals that descended from wolves which thrive in packs and when feeling lonely or in distress, they return to that familiar instinct. Even though quite disguising dogs can be found trying to eat bugs, they do this out of curiosity and an interest in the taste and texture of the bug or to fill a dietary need.
