Results: This is a survey about survey questions I sometimes have difficulty answering because they assume that before we purchase something, we spend time researching the company, its products, its values and/or how likely our friends will also buy.

I must admit there are times I get an emotional kick from a good day's shopping and there are times that I do tell friends, family members or others about something I bought. There are some companies I feel happy to do business with for less tangible reasons. There are also times when I try to do business with a company and they do something unrelated to the product itself that kills the deal. Many times however I find what I am looking for, pay for it, go home and use it and that's about it. So here are some questions that assume there is much more to it than that. How do you answer these questions?

The next one is about the sharing of values. Is the ability to "buy or not buy based on shared values" an option only the wealthy can afford? Do the rest of us simply buy from ABC company because it had (we hope) the best product at the best price?

I haven't the time or inclination to check out what the company media department says its values are. I might NOT buy based on something negative from the media or some other source but that's about it.
