I frequently use ebay for my shopping and getting good deals on used items. Recently, I've been having problems. I'm interested to see who else uses this website and what their experience was.

The ebay website says if your account has suspicious activity to change your password immediately, which is what I did. I also verified my phone number. I then cleared my recently viewed list. BUT then more things I NEVER looked at showed up a few hours later! This happened over the course of a little over a week. Nothing was out of the ordinary on my ebay account EXCEPT those two things. (no weird purchases, address changes, etc.) Do you think my account is hacked or is it an ebay system glitch/issue on their end?

I think eBay is using an algorithm that shows things on your feed that it thinks you might want to/be persuaded to buy. 0.07% 1
I think you should call Ebay and tell them what's been happening. You can email them. I think the link is at the bottom of the pages. I haven't had to contact them lately but I always got right thru to a human. Look up the cust. service # 0.07% 1

If your account is not hacked (check this by using your malware, virus programs) then I would check their privacy and cookies policies. You’d be surprised by tracking etc. & + in your account feed based on your account activity. Think Google analytic 0.07% 1
It's probably fine, they just want you to look at their suggested stuff. 0.07% 1

I tried to see if ebay had a way to contact customer service or get help for this issue. All I could find was a useless robot chat bot, and, after a LOT of searching, a phone number to call. I think the AI robot chat is trash because it only gives the same answers to questions you find in the FAQ section on the website and cannot help you with questions like a real human can. I find all this annoying, as I would much rather be able to email ebay for help. What are your thoughts on customer service, and what types, websites (like ebay) should offer?

Ebay is one of the worst! I too had a problem a number of years ago, and wanted to speak with someone! It was almost impossible to find a phone number! They do not want to deal with their customers it seems! 0.04% 1
