Results: I have done several surveys about my use of TW "Mad Money" to buy stuff I might otherwise not have bought. After a lull over Christmas, I have kick-started my consumerism again.
Since Amazon is still open for my business, my survey money can go towards non essentials again. I purchased some items I would not have bought with "real money." These might be of interest to TW members.

There are times when the traditional thermometer that has to be inserted in an orifice is just not practical or desirable. The hospitals have thermometers that only need a swipe across the forehead to get an accurate reading. I priced them out and got a really good one for $35. Here are some features. Which of them do you like?

I was fed up with the sound quality from the small speakers in my TV. At my age my ears need speakers that produce crisp high end audio so that I can hear what the actors are saying, plus slightly more low end for when watching a movie. I indulged myself by buying a sound bar. If you rely on your TV speakers and have difficult hearing what they produce, would these features put you in the market?

Anyone who uses a CPAP machine will recognize what this item is. The small mask that came with my machine wedged my mouth open if I snored. Snoring was something I hoped to prevent. The solution was to buy a bigger mask (it worked) but how can they justify $80 for this? My TW money did not cover it. Do you use one of these machines. Comments please?
