Results: New Brunswick city reschedules Halloween
Published on 10/31/2025
Bathurst, New Brunswick, has postponed official Halloween activities, including trick-or-treating, to Nov. 1 due to a wet and windy forecast linked to Hurricane Melissa. “This decision was made with the safety and comfort of our children, families, and community in mind,” the city wrote on Facebook and its website. Forecasts for New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and P.E.I. call for 30–50 mm of rain and southeasterly gusts of 70–80 km/h, reaching up to 110 km/h in western Cape Breton.
