Yesterday, I was looking up a child's website and got an Access Denied pop up on my computer. I had a number to call to fix the problem. Has this ever happened to you?

I called and the guy got into my computer and said there was a hacker in it trying to get bank info and credit card numbers. Do you see where this is going?

He asked if he should check my bank account to see if the hackers had already got into my account. I said no thanks. He then said for $350.00 he could fix the problem. By now the red flags were going up. I hung up on him, turned off my computer and restarted the computer and the pop up was gone. Did I do the right thing?
