The Louvre, Paris, France - According to France 24, it is the most visited museum in the world. It has more than 650,000 square feet of space, according to Designing Buildings. It houses such famous works as the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People. Built in the French Classical style, it was originally a fortress and royal home before Napoleon Bonaparte commissioned it to be made into a museum in 1801. Famous architect I. M. Pei designed the pyramid structure as part of a new lobby in 1988. Would you like to visit this impressive museum?

The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia - A complex of six buildings, mostly designed by Santiago Calatrava. The six areas include a planetarium, garden, science museum, opera house, aquarium, and events center. Tickets are required to visit the planetarium, aquarium, and science museum, but the rest of the complex is free. The City sits on a former riverbed and the waters were diverted to create space for the museum. Each building in the complex is unique. The Principe Felipe science museum looks like the backbone of a marine sea creature. It houses more than 26,000 meters (more than 85,000-square-feet) of science and technical exhibitions. The Palau De Les Arts opera house is equipped with the most advanced acoustic technologies, making it an ideal venue for music festivals and performances. The Oceanografic aquarium houses more than 500 species of marine creatures, including sea lions, penguins, sharks, and dolphins. This is definitely worth a visit, even if you do not tour the inside of all six complexes. Have you visited Valencia?
