Northwest Territories - Nahanni Butte, Dehcho Region - Nahanni Butte is known for the Nuk-luk, a Bigfoot-like creature that's a little more Neanderthal Man than ape. It was first seen in 1964 by several people: John Baptist, many other men, and a boy, Jerry. The creature is large and over 6 feet tall with long hair and a foul smell. Some researchers say they have lived in the area for thousands of years. Another local legend here centers on a hidden or lost gold mine and many unsolved deaths and disappearances. Nova Scotia - St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish - Originally built back in 1853, St. Francis Xavier University merged with Mount St. Bernard College (a local Catholic school for girls) in 1894. One of the nuns working at Mount St. Bernard, legend has it, fell in love and had an affair with a priest of St. Francis Xavier. As her religion forbids this kind of thing, she was humiliated. Not being able to live with the guilt, it's reported she leaped to her death from a balcony in Gilmora Hall. It's believed she haunts the halls and residences of the campus, turning on taps, knocking on doors, knocking over books, and on occasion, she has been known to appear! Staff and students now refer to her as the Blue Nun. Have you ever visited this university?

Ontario - Keg Mansion, Toronto - Today, it's one of many locations of the Keg steakhouse franchise, but the legendary Keg Mansion on Jarvis Street in Toronto was once the private residence of industrialist Hart Massey and his family. As legend has it, in 1915, after the death of Massey's beloved only daughter, Lillian, one of the maids was so stricken by grief that she hung herself. Another version of the story involves the maid killing herself for fears her rumored affair with a Massey man would be revealed. Either way, the ghostly image of a maid hanging by her neck has been seen by more than one Keg visitor over the years. Have you ever eaten at this restaurant?
