1. We've noticed an increase in members writing political comments in the "Other" answer box or comment section of surveys that aren't political. For example (made-up scenario):If a survey asks about your favorite soda and someone writes "Other – I hate Biden" or "I hate Trump", that comment isn't relevant to the question.
Going forward, these types of off-topic political comments will be removed, and a warning will be issued to the member. Repeated violations will count as strikes toward comment removal.
We don't want to be overly strict, but Tellwut is meant to be a community where everyone can share opinions and answer questions respectfully. Many members choose to skip political surveys, so please keep political opinions within political topics only. We understand that the world feels increasingly divided, but we want Tellwut to remain a welcoming and enjoyable space for all members. It's concerning that we've had to post several reminders about comment behavior. Going forward, anyone who continues to post in bad faith or ignore these guidelines will have their comments removed and may lose the ability to comment or participate in surveys.
