At the 2016 "Joy to the World" Christmas festival in Colombo, Sri Lanka, organizers accidentally printed the lyrics to Tupac Shakur's rap song "Hail Mary" in their event booklet, rather than the traditional Catholic prayer of the same name. The mix-up resulted in thousands of attendees reading explicit profanity-laden verses about violence and sex instead of the familiar hymn. Church officials later apologized for the blunder, explaining that a young printer had simply downloaded the wrong version of the song off the internet. Video attached is that version and not the religious version, so you may not want to listen if you are easily offended! Hypothetically speaking, if you were sitting in church and read these lyrics, what would your reaction be?
It would be hilarious!

Recent stories about missing kangaroos may be "common" in Australia, but these three stories all took place in North America! In late March 2026, a 16-month-old pet kangaroo named Chesney escaped from a petting zoo in Necedah, Wisconsin. After a multi-day search involving drones, Chesney voluntarily hopped up to searchers near his home and was safely returned. A missing kangaroo in Kentucky generated headlines in early June 2026 before being safely located and returned to its owner. And, a kangaroo named "Joey" that was loose for several days in Boucherville, Quebec, was safely captured on June 16, 2026. Wildlife protection officers found him in a grassy field, and transported him to the Granby Zoo. Authorities determined the kangaroo had escaped from illegal captivity. Have you ever seen a kangaroo outside of a zoo or wildlife retreat?
