I know most of us just click quickly past some of the first parts of surveys, like research surveys, where they tell you why they are doing the survey and who is using the data, but have you ever done a survey that seemed so biased, that you felt the need to find out who sponsored the survey?

I am not sure if its applicable in the U.S., but in Canada you have rights as a survey participant to know who is collecting the data and the general subject and purpose of the survey in most cases. Do you try and stay informed about these types of things or do you not really worry about it?
