Jack Shi lives at 20 Ingram Street in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, the real-life address listed for Peter Parker in a 1989 Spider-Man comic. The Queens house has long drawn letters addressed to the web-slinging superhero, even though Spider-Man is fictional. Shi said he learned about the home's comic-book connection when he bought it three years ago. The house has become a small piece of New York City pop-culture history. Some of the letters saved by the home's previous residents were later displayed at the City Reliquary Museum in Brooklyn. Have you ever gone to see or written a letter to a famous address from a movie, TV show or book?

While some home owners might find it amusing or irritating, Shi has fully embraced the responsibility of the famous address. He answers letters from fans and even dresses up as Spider-Man and takes pictures with fans who show up at his address. If you were in his shoes, would you also do what he does?
