If I had a nickel for every time I was in the basement in flooded water with the electricity still on down there...I must be lucky! Once, I was down in the basement with my mother and a tornado hit. I was sitting on the dryer in front of a window. My mother grabbed me and got me off the dryer just as a big 2 x 4 came through the window. It could have killed me! I guess I am lucky! Vacuuming flammable dust: Fine dust can ignite in a nonrated vacuum. Avoid vacuuming combustible powders and use equipment specifically approved for the material. Have you ever used the powder that is scented that you put on your carpet and then vacuum it up?

Glass wall mistaken for an opening: Highly transparent panels can cause high-speed collisions. Watch for floor tracks, handles, decals, and reflected light. Have you ever mistaken a glass window or wall for an exit or entrance? Ouch!

Vehicle entering through storefront glass: Parking spaces aimed at windows create intrusion risk. Avoid sitting directly in line with vehicle approaches where no barrier exists. I guess you should confine your shopping or eating to the middle or rear of the store instead of near the windows? One time I worked at a restaurant with huge windows in the front. A man driving a semi threatened to drive into the restaurant with his truck. There was a standoff for hours. The police finally convinced the man to give himself up.
