NYC is famous for lots of things...the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, but perhaps the most bizarre tourist attraction is the Naked Cowboy. The Naked Cowboy, or Robert John Burck, is a street performer who plays his guitar in Times Square dressed only in a cowboy hat, cowboy boots, and white briefs with a strategically placed guitar. and has been performing there for almost 28 years. And just like the mail, "neither rain, snow, sleet, nor hail" can keep him from making a daily appearance for his fans. OK, maybe the occasional special appearance somewhere else in the country or a bad cold, but he hasn't missed too many days. He tried out for American Idol, and Star Search but didn't advance too far (maybe his singing isn't his strongest draw) and has appeared in some TV shows as himself. He even ran for for President in the 2012 U.S. election, representing the Tea Party movement. Have you ever seen the Naked Cowboy in NYC?

Think you know chess? There are over 2,000 documented chess variants. Because people keep inventing new rules, boards, and pieces, there is no single final number. Experts like encyclopedia editors have cataloged roughly 1,600 to 2,000 distinct versions, but thousands of homebrew and digital modifications exist. Shogi is widely considered the most complex and difficult historical chess variant, featuring a massive 36x36 board and 804 total pieces across 209 different types. Do you play chess?
