Results: Have you had unique or unusual contact with animals or insects?

I take an annual two-week fishing trip to Ontario, Canada to fish at lakes, rivers, streams off the beaten track, often off logging roads in the wilderness. About three years ago, while fishing in a 15-ft. boat, a big, colorful dragonfly kept flying around our boat and landing next to me on my seat. After it kept doing this about three different times, I started talking to it saying, Ah, do you want me to pet your wings?" So I started to pet its wing with my finger and I did this for a long time, repeatedly when it kept coming back. Has anything happened to you like that or unusual with a animal in the wild or an insect?

Would you be afraid to touch an insect like I did?

Do you think I was just asking for the dragonfly to bite me?
