Trivia
Whether you call it a thingamajig or whatchamacallit, most of us either can't remember the name or never knew the name of many things we use everyday. For example, what is the name of the little lump of flesh in front of the ear canal? Now I know it is called the tragus, but only after hearing about someone getting a piercing in this part of their body.

When my children were young, if we did not know a word, we would make up a word and use it whenever we talked about that particular thing. To this day, we still refer to the red fleshy part underneath a chicken's neck as a "wobbly", even though we have since learned it is actually called a "wattle". Did you ever do this either as a child yourself or with your children?
