. Unto my skinny young whoring girl cat has been born a single jet black kitten! This cat was pregnant once before, and that time only had one single kitten too. Based on past experience, this seems unusual to me. TRIGGER WARNING to the pet spaying Gestapo: I know it is highly possible that some of you will come goose stepping into the comments part of this poll with bayonets, and since I wont get to address your concerns individually when you do, I would like to mention here I DO fully understand your viewpoint, do understand why, not always, but often it is important and sometimes vital to get a pet spayed and why, and that I have very carefully looked at ALL aspects of this issue (including the ones that you probably have NOT looked at),and have carefully weighed all parts of this issue in my decision to let my cats have a litter or two of kittens. I mention this so that if and when you do comment on the subject, (which is always welcome, even if your opinion differs from mine), you can save yourself some time by not writing a lengthy diatribe pontificating on why all cats must be spayed. In the commnets: Aside from the obvious issue of only one egg getting fertilized, are there other reasons you know of or ideas you have on why a cat would have only one kitten instead of a litter?
