Results: A New Song From Freddie Mercury And Queen?

The second last episode of the Apple TV+ series, Ted Lasso, features a song "Fought & Lost", that I thought was an unreleased song from Queen, when Freddie Mercury fronted them. I was shocked to find it was not Freddie, but Sam Ryder, a U.K. singer who represented that country in Eurovision two years ago. I knew he had a good voice, but did not realize how close to Mercury he sounds. Oddly enough, Brian May (of Queen) plays guitar on the track, which was written specifically for Ted Lasso. Emitt Rhodes was a rising pop star in the early 1970s, with songwriting and singing skills likened to those of Paul McCartney.
