Survey: 53% of Americans admit they’re not living a ‘healthy’ lifestyle
Half of Americans aren’t taking great care of their health and well-being, new research shows. A survey of 2,000 respondents found 53 percent don’t consider their lifestyle “healthy,” and the same number don’t feel capable of improving their health. When asked what’s holding them back from living a healthier lifestyle, a lack of understanding topped the list — 39 percent don’t understand the best actions to take in order to be healthy. In less than two weeks, on April 18, the federal mask mandate for public transportation is due to expire. The airline industry has been pushing the Biden administration to end the mandate, but multiple public surveys suggest that the majority of Americans are still not quite ready to see it go. Canada's Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said that federal agencies overseeing masking mandates in Canada for things like domestic travel are evaluating the situation and could make "policy adjustments as needed in the coming days and weeks." -Forbes CBC.
