A waitress in Washington state who is a single mother of three got the surprise of a lifetime: a $3,000 tip on a $44 check, along with an anonymous note … The waitress, Michelle Bozemen, got the tip while working at the Rib Eye restaurant south of Seattle. On the back of the $44 bill, the customer wrote, "thanks for smiling. You work hard and the country is in a bad place."he stranger also requested that Bozemen do something good for someone else.
