Results: Funny Money

Several weeks ago a customer of the bank where I'm employed came in on Monday and told me that the previous Friday he was given two counterfeit $50 bills by one of the other tellers. I immediately saw that they were and referred him to my manager. He told her that after he left the bank he was on his way out of town and stopped at a convenience store and tried to use one of the bills. The store's policy is to keep bogus bills. My manager called the store and the manager there said she knew nothing about it. When the customer was told this he changed his story. He had waited a week before going out of town and did not go to that store. The bills were in his wallet for more than a week. The head of security was called and she made the decision not to reimburse him since there was no way to prove that he received the bills from the bank. After that he blasted the bank all over Facebook.
