I don't watch 'The Walking Dead", but I know it's a fairly bleak look at an apocalyptic world. So imagine my surprise the other night, when I heard the bouncy tones of The Bee Gees 1966 song "Spicks and Specks" playing while my son and his friends watched one episode. Apparently the song was used during a rather critical scene in the show, while one character walked alone. Do you enjoy when TV shows or movies use music that is essentially completely out of context?
Yes I love it--it surprises us and keeps things interesting

No, keep the music in context -- a show about the 60's should play 60's music
