Results: Dance Makes A Bold Statement

Dance can entertain, but it can also move you, express emotions through movement and song, and even make a bold statement. On Monday, August 19, the opening dance number on So You Think You Can Dance tackled a very sensitive and disturbing topic -- the epidemic of gun violence in the U.S. Do you think this dance piece is a powerful piece?

This is not the first time this show has made powerful statements through dance. In fact the show has tackled weighty subjects such as domestic violence, bullying, suicide, cancer, death, gender expression, depression, addiction and many other topics throughout their 16 year run.
