Results: Rosemary Kennedy
Published on 05/19/2019
Rosemary Kennedy was the third child of Joe and Rose Kennedy, and sister to former U.S. president John F. Kennedy. Due to her academic struggles and violent mood swings, she underwent a lobotomy in the early 1940s which left her unable to speak, or move. She became dependent on others and was institutionalized until her death in 2005 at the age of 86. The Kennedy's kept her situation a secret from the public, and so little information is known about her, even today.
