What criteria do you use to pick which book you're going to read?
The cover. Hey, you need *some* way of judging which book you're interested in....the cover does work, that's why they have visual covers or dust jackets.

The writer. I personally like writers of series but some people can become repeative, I've noticed. Lee Child is one person who has followed the same formula for 25 books or so now. Tom Clancy. James Patterson. V.C. Andrews. Just 4 random names.

The topic. For example, if you're not interested in wrestling, you probably won't really care for an autobiography of Bret "Hitman" Hart, the wrestler.
