Have you tried to buy a new car lately?

I went searching on internet and found a price that wasn't too bad. They showed MSRP price which includes the destination charge, then their discount amount and the price you would pay. When I nailed them down to a price in writing, they added the destination charge on again saying that price after the discount didn't include the destination charge which means they really didn't give the discount they said. Has that happened to you?

Next, they added a charge for nitrogen tires which I had told them 3 times I didn't want. The car was in transit still so it wasn't like it was already done. Have you read like I have that it is just another way to make more money and most of them don't even have the equipment to do it?

The charge for their dealer fee or document fee was higher than what was shown on the internet. Their response was it went up the first of the year and it's state regulated. I was told by a local dealer that each dealership decides on the amount they will charge. Would you have done what I did which is to tell them they were the most dishonest dealership I had ever dealt with and never call me again?

Another bogus charge some are tacking on is computer fee and or registering computer with government. Do you agree there needs to be some regulation on fees they can charge?
