At first I thought the survey was asking about eggs. From chickens and I! $5,000 for eggs? How fast can I buy some chicks!

That's kind of like giving up your kids for adoption! I wouldn't like not knowing whether I had kids out there, and even worse, never knowing them, and them not considering me their mother.

I would not sell them it would bother me not knowing the exact use or entrusting them into the care of a total stranger I know nothing about.

I wouldn't do it because I do not know what they are being used for. And for that ignorance on my part it is not morally acceptable for me.

I don't understand why women wouldn't sell their eggs. Are you going to use them for something else?

I don't think I could do that..but at the same time, the numbers are insulting...I wouldn't even think about it unless it was in the millions, then maybe... I would consider it.

Back in college I remember having a discussion with a girlfriend about this. She was saying how great it was that women can sell their eggs for $5,000 but men can only get $40 for their sperm. My response was "Yeah, but I can get $40, $40, $40, $40..."

When I first read this I didn't get it. I thought you meant the kind of eggs a chicken lays.
